翻譯忠于原著
Publisher shall ensure that the Translation is good literary quality. Publisher has the right to make such alterations, abridgements, revision or supplements as are deemed appropriate for its target readerships, and will consult with Owner about such changes.
出版商應(yīng)確保譯作質(zhì)量?jī)?yōu)良。出版商有權(quán)針對(duì)讀者群對(duì)作品進(jìn)行適當(dāng)?shù)母摹h減、修正或補(bǔ)充，并且應(yīng)與所有人協(xié)商該種變更。
Owner shall agree to support Publisher’s application to take advantage of any available funding programme, either organized by the China government or other organizations, that subsidises translation of Chinese books. Any such funds will be exclusively of the use of Publisher for translation of the Work.
所有者應(yīng)同意支持出版商申請(qǐng)任何有利于中文書籍翻譯的贊助，不管是由中國(guó)政府還是由其他機(jī)構(gòu)組織的。這種資金應(yīng)僅用于作品的翻譯。
Approval of Final Manuscript
終稿的批準(zhǔn)
Owner reserves the right to approve the final manuscript of each titles of the Translation prior to its publication. Publisher will submit the final manuscript to Owner for review. Owner will review the final manuscript and provide Publisher with its comments and required modifications within a reasonable period of time, but in no event shall such review period be longer than two weeks.
所有者有權(quán)在譯作出版前批準(zhǔn)譯作終稿。出版商將向所有者提交終稿進(jìn)行審核，所有者審閱終稿，并作出批示，要求出版商在合理期限內(nèi)修改，審核期任何情況下都不得超過兩周。
Publisher has the right to use the original cover art and design of each title for the Translation, but retains the right to make alternations. Publisher shall obtain Owner’s written approval of the final cover prior to publication of the Translation.
出版商有權(quán)使用譯作標(biāo)題的原始封面美術(shù)和設(shè)計(jì)，但是有權(quán)進(jìn)行更改。出版商應(yīng)在譯作出版前獲取所有者對(duì)最終封面的書面批準(zhǔn)。
